Centre Manager

Thomas (Tom) Ledwaba – Tom was selected in May 2019 by the Centre Board.  He received his BA in education and economics from the University of South Africa (UNISA); he has taught at the high school and university level; he brings his expertise in education, as well as management and administration to Bokamoso.

Program Coordinator & Drama Director

Steve (Scotch) Baloyi – Steve completed the Youth Development Program as a youth and came to the United States twice as a student performer.  He has been a Bokamoso staff member with increasing responsibilities for the past 7 years.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of South Africa in 2020.

Scholarship Coordinator and Centre Administrator

Peggy Malebane – Peggy manages the Centre’s scholarship program and provides administrative support to the staff.  She has a degree in psychology.

Youth Mentors

Lerato Moraka – Lerato co-facilitates Youth Development sessions, specifically those related to health issues, sexually transmitted diseases, sexual behavior and HIV and AIDS.  She assists in counseling Bokamoso youth on an individual basis.

Tshwrelo Frans Sekhula – Frans co-facilitates Youth Development sessions.  He is a graduate of the Bokamoso program and graduated from the University of South Africa with a BA in law in 2019.

Finance Coordinator

Paul Musomali – Paul is a graduate of the Youth Development Program and went on to earn a national certificate in accounting on a Bokamoso scholarship.  He is currently studying at the University of South Africa for a degree in finance.

Support Staff

Sara Sithole – Cook/Nutritionist
Joseph Rikhotso – Security:  He is a graduate of the Youth Development Program and received his security certification with a Bokamoso scholarship.
Mary Masekela – Cleaner
Aaron Thobela – Grounds Keeper/Gardener: He is a graduate of the Youth Development Program.
